Chrishell Stause has quickly become one of America’s sweethearts over the last year after Selling Sunset rose to fame on Netflix. Although the soap opera star has been receiving more opportunity than she’s ever had, Stause has also had a rollercoaster few years.
Beginning with her husband’s sudden popularity for playing one of the Big 3 on This Is Us, to him suddenly divorcing her, and then her mother passing away from cancer.
In the meantime, she was in the process of learning how to sell multi-million-dollar homes and having her life filmed on Selling Sunset.
Now, Chrishell is back on the dating scene and dancing the pain away on DWTS but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t struggle.
Stause was the stepmother of Justin Hartley’s daughter but was disconnected from her when the split took place which made it even more heartbreaking.
For now, she has no kids so she has decided to freeze her eggs.

She told People Magazine: ‘Hopefully, that will empower me going forward in the dating world, so there’s not so much pressure. I definitely had a different idea for where I would be at this age and stage in my life. There’s a family aspect that I’m missing that I hope is still a possibility for me.’
Chrishell is definitely leaning on her sister and family after the tragic loss of her mom. Something that they are still coping with just one year after her dad passed away from the same terrible disease.
‘It’s almost an ungrievable loss. The other loss, you can slowly recover and get over. This one just feels like I’m adapting, as opposed to getting over it.’
For now, Chrishell is killing it on ABC’s celebrity dance show with Gleb Savchenko as her choreographer.
